Comparison: Riot and Vaypor Series?Updated 9 months ago
The main difference between the Vaypor and Riot+ series is that the Vaypor series is our performance-orientated shoe.
The heel is slightly tighter, it is more firm and has a more connected feel around the foot.
The Vaypor Series also feature a monocoque carbon chassis which is a lot firmer and the stiffness is much greater. The Vaypor series has a stack height of 3.6mm compared to 4.8mm in the Riot Series. This doesn't sound like much but a closer connection to the pedal (lower stack height) creates a more stable platform along with more rounded pedal strokes. That said, even our Riot Series shoes are lower in stack compared to many of the competition's high-end models.
In the Riot+ series, wide/Asian fit are built around the same last and should be considered as a wide/Asian fit. We offer two distinct wide and Asian fit options in the Vaypor Series. Differences between wide and Asian fit can be found here.
